Brief normalization
Translate an application discussion into a working brief: intended end use, fiber preference, knit or weave construction, target GSM, usable width, finish and expected quantity. This does not substitute for a product specification; it makes the questions visible before samples are compared.
Sample-stage coordination
Lab dips, strike-offs, handloom trials and bulk lots answer different questions. Record which stage is being reviewed, the agreed reference and any change in construction or finish. A favorable trial is not a standing approval for another color, batch or material route.
Evidence request planning
Ask for documents that match the requested product, producing entity and scope. Where a performance, recycled-content or certification statement is relevant, identify the method, the specimen conditions and the document needed rather than using a generic badge.
